Today was our last day in Barcelona. We had a flight back to the US in the late afternoon so we had the first half of the day for sightseeing.
First Stop : Casa Batllo
Casa Batllo is a building in the center of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí and is considered one of his masterpieces.

It was 10 mins walk from our hotel. The audio guide was included in the ticket price. There were several other ticket options but the cheapest one cost 35 euros and it works for us.
We followed the audio guide from room to room and enjoyed the architecture. The first room had an interesting mushroom-shaped fireplace.
It’s an awe-inspiring work of art, wavy ceiling and huge oak doors.
It has interesting architectural designs in every room, which look fascinating.
There were multiple floors and beautiful tiles on the side.
More tile on the courtyard; the details were amazing.
Loft was formerly a service area for the tenants of the building and housed laundry rooms, storage areas, etc.
Beautiful chimneys on the roof terrace. There was also a café there if you wanted to relax and order drinks.
It was a great experience, a little pricy but worth it.
Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera designed by architect Antoni Gaudi for the Mila family. It is known as “ La Pedrera ” due to its external appearance; similar to an open-pit quarry, it presents forms extracted from nature. It is situated next to Casa Balto and can be visited.

Casa Amatller is another unique building designed for the Amatller family, who were Barcelona’s best-known chocolate makers.
The church of the Holy conception
La concepcio market
Another interesting building on our way back to Pl catalunya.
In the afternoon, we took the Airport Express bus from Pl Catalunya to Barcelona airport. There were ticket machines at the stop. It took around 45 minutes to get to the airport, and very comfortable.
