Where we stayed in Costa Rica

We visited Costa Rica on a guided tour offered by Gate 1 Travel. It was our first guided tour; otherwise, we usually plan all our trips ourselves. It was a great experience to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey without thinking about how to get there. We visited San Jose, Arenal, and Monteverde on this trip. All the hotels were included in our package. The tour guide helped us check-in, and the porters brought our luggage to our rooms. We were instructed to leave the bags outside the room at the designated time the following day, and the porters brought them to the bus. On subsequent days the tour guide distributed the room keys to all guests, and we didn’t have to get in line for check-in, and the porters brought the luggage to the room from the bus, and when we left, they brought the bags from the room to the bus.
